Some research shows that people with felony records sometimes believe that their right to vote is taken away permanently when they are convicted. Over 1.6 million people in North Carolina have a criminal record. Given the chance and accurate information, this is a group with incredible power to use their vote to influence positive change. Learn the facts and hear from the experts. Join Thrive GSO for an important, timely discussion about reentry, voting and civic engagement. Program is free and open to the public.
