On Thursday, May 9, the Thrive Alachua! Strategic Planning Steering Committee invites you to an open forum on education.
Celebrating its second year, Thrive Alachua! brings together thought leaders from all sectors of our community, including government, nonprofit, education, and business to focus on creating and implementing a strategic plan to improve the lives of residents in Alachua County.
The plan focuses on four areas of education, financial stability, health, and safety for citizens of all ages in Alachua County. Strategies that tie to the importance of early learning, the public school system and the transition to the workforce will be discussed at the May 9 event.
The May 9 open forum includes a panel presentation, followed by break-out sessions to prioritize key strategies to support each of the three topic areas in education.
