I'm thrilled to invite you to our second Three Questions Urban Retreat and our first retreat of 2017.
The Three Questions system is a fresh synergy of yoga, traditional Chinese medicine, and Buddhist philosophy. I designed this system to help teachers and participants work with more directly with their thoughts, feelings, and emotions during yoga practice. During urban retreats we dive more deeply into the teachings of the system. For 2017, I will be introducing additional practices that participants can combine with public classes, as well as for personal use.
Our daily schedule will consist of three hours of discussion and practice in the morning, a two-hour midday break, and three hours of discussion and practice in the afternoon. Sunday will start at 8 AM, and will combine our retreat weekend with the public Three Questions Yin class at Spirit of Yoga.
The retreat is open to all, including those with no prior experience in the Three Questions system. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of The Three Questions: An Approach to Yoga, available online at https://www.createspace.com/6020120. Additional handouts and materials will be provided during the weekend.
While this urban retreat does not authorize individuals to teach in this style, it is an excellent introduction to the system and will provide background in advance of the Teaching weekend later in the year.
