Harriet Beveridge

Harriet has been an Executive Coach for 17 years -  delivering over 10,000 hours of one to one and group coaching. Recent clients include Screwfix, M&S and Lloyds Banking Group. She is co-author of the bestselling book: ‘Will It Make the Boat Go Faster? Olympic-Winning Strategies for Everyday Success’.  She is also an accomplished keynote speaker and stand-up Comic.

Harriet started her career at Ernst and Young as a Management Consultant working on Business Transformation and Organisational Change.  She then joined RogenSi, a consultancy specialising in leadership, change and growth, where latterly she was a Principal.  Harriet joined Talking Talent in 2009 and developed the firm’s leadership development service line from scratch. She is now Non Exec Director for Will It Make The Boat Go Faster? And heads up their performance programme offerings.

Mark Hughes

Mark’s emotional intelligence expertise is based on a varied career.  Mark is founder of mch, a staff development company that increases the positive impact of Third Sector organisations.  While Mark mentors, coaches and facilitates, the bulk of his time is spent delivering training in key management and leadership areas.  He is also Chair of the award winning social enterprise DECIPHer Impact, which improves public health.

Prior to founding mch in 2005, Mark worked for the international consultancy firm McKinsey & Company before taking on the role of Chief Executive at Rumbalara, an indigenous sporting and community development organisation.  Mark was introduced to emotional intelligence at McKinsey and he repeatedly saw how it influenced the success and happiness of organisational teams.  When he became Chief Executive of Rumbalara, the organisation was on the brink of insolvency.  In such an environment, there was a need to develop trusting relationships quickly, make tough decisions early and empathise with staff members facing redundancy or new challenges.  Success in all these areas required high levels of emotional intelligence.
