Threads of Change: Clothing Drive for LGBT Homeless Youth

Join SCSC and the LA Gay & Lesbian Center's Young Professionals Council for its sixth annual Threads of Change clothing drive.
Admission is free, and guests who donate a bag of gently used clothes will receive a complimentary mimosa.
In addition to gently used clothes (especially black ties) and new socks and underwear, the Center needs messenger bags and padfolios to provide to youth who are looking for jobs.
Items of apparel in greatest demand are:
- Gently used casual clothes (of all adult sizes)
- Gently used professional attire that youth can wear on job interviews
- Black neck ties, padfolios and messenger bags
- New socks and underwear
**Those unable to attend Threads of Change can drop off donations at the Highland Annex, 1220 N. Highland Ave., any day between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. **
