- Mr Arun Ambatipudi, co-Founder of Chetna Organic, who will: give a brief history of Chetna Organic, describing how Chetna works with cotton farmers to convert from conventional to organic production; and outline the mutually reinforcing relationship between Dibella/the ethical factory chain and Chetna Organic;
- Ms Jenny Foster, Project Lead, Global Goals Centre (GGC) who will: describe the work of the GGC in the context of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the GGC Resource Hub; outline why fast fashion is a current theme; demonstrate the GGC’s new “Threads” game and how it can be used in schools; cover how schools/young people can take action for positive change in the fashion industry.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the course of the event, which will be answered to the extent possible in the Q and As session at the end.
