Event description
An awards ceremony and panel discussion on the state of housing mobility in the Baltimore region.

About this Event

Since 2012, the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership (BRHP) has expanded housing choices for over 5,000 families throughout the Baltimore region. BRHP was launched to administer the Baltimore Housing Mobility Program and other remedies that resulted from the landmark housing desegregation lawsuit Thompson v. HUD, which sought to eradicate the legacy of nearly a century of government-sponsored racial segregation in the Baltimore region.

As the Regional Administrator of the Baltimore Housing Mobility Program, BRHP helps families with low incomes access and transition successfully to safe, healthy, and economically vibrant communities.

Join the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership and ACLU of Maryland for an awards ceremony and panel discussion as we reflect on 25 years since Thompson v. HUD and discuss the present and future of housing mobility for voucher recipients throughout the Baltimore region.

Moderator:

Stefanie DeLuca, Ph.D., James Coleman Professor of Sociology & Social Policy, Johns Hopkins University
