Thomas is adept in a diverse range of musical genres spanning from garage rock to lounge blues to folk and, according to The Idaho Statesman has "been in more Boise bands than any sane musician should, and he plays essentially any instrument with strings or keys plopped in front of him." His talents are demonstrated on vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, mandolin and accordion both in live performances and on his albums Goodbye, Waterloo... and House on Fire. When he's not leading his own band, Thomas can also be found adding to the sounds of other great Northwest performers including Bill Coffey, Nick Jaina, aka Belle, Gizzard Stone, New Transit, and others.
