Event description
Join us at the new Amegy on Main this November 18 to kick off "THIS: The Houston Innovation Summit" during Global Entrepreneurship Week!

About this Event

Houston consistently ranks as one of the top cities for economic growth potential, one of the best startup ecosystems, and one of the best places in the country for women and minority entrepreneurs to start their own businesses.

We invite you to learn how our innovation ecosystem is rapidly expanding -- with greater connectivity and impact across our region and country, and offering new opportunities around the world for our startups -- on November 18 at the new Amegy on Main tower downtown, as we kick off "THIS: The Houston Innovation Summit" November 18-24 during Global Entrepreneurship Week!

Join leaders from Impact Hub Houston, Central Houston, Amegy Bank, The Cannon, and more for a discussions on:

  • How Houston's business community is collaborating to create new and unique pathways for startup development; and,
  • How Houston's entrepreneurial ecosystem is evolving to meet the needs of Houston's diverse industries -- and of the diverse startups and entrepreneurs emerging in them.

We'll have a lot of time for Q&A so you can learn what trends and opportunities they're seeing in Houston versus other regions, and what they're most excited about for Houston's future.

Afterwards, attendees will be able to tour the new Amegy on Main tower, and get sneak peeks of the organizations' spaces who will be calling it "home"!

PARKING INFORMATION:

Parking will be available in the Visitor spaces directly in front of the building, in the first two rows of parking in the surface lot across the street and in the lot directly behind the OLD cathedral. The arm is down for the surface lot across the street but it is programmed to come up when you pull up.
