Breaking News: Citizens are witnessing & reporting that daily events & phenomena are taking place in our midst.  Our local Good News Network is a buzz. Things are happening that can not be explained. There is reportedly a Miracle Worker who is pouring out compassion & care. Eyewitnesses report seeing Him deliver people from their situations and performing miracles so that everyone can know Him. Join us LIVE for a week of Reports & Breaking News as Blue Buzzing Anchors & Red Roaming Reporters discover more about this Miracle Worker.

Join us this June for a unique and exciting 4-day VBS DAY CAMP experience! We will work as teams and compete in different challenges. VBS DAY CAMP will run from 9am-12pm daily from June 22-25, 2021. There is no cost to attend, however we do ask that if you register and then cannot attend that you cancel your registration(s), or contact Sharon Gery, so that we may release your spot for another camper. Please note ---- Day Camp is TUES through FRI.

"This Just In!" VBS DAY CAMP will have a fun & integrated daily theme for children entering K-2nd Grade. Please note that our youngest campers must be ENTERING Kindergarten September 2021 in order to attend VBS DAY CAMP. Day Campers entering 3rd - 5th Grade will choose one elective emphasis for the week. These students will attend their chosen elective daily. Because of supplies and preparation, once an elective is chosen, changes cannot be made

4 Elective Choices for campers entering 3rd - 5th grade:

Culinary Arts:  Love to be in the kitchen? Campers will gain basic culinary art skills, take home a snack they prepare, and interact with peers in group settings.

Science Experiments: Does science come to mind when you think about summer camp? We hope so! Science Experiments offers campers exciting and innovative ways to get hands-on experience with various science concepts.

Art-istry: Do you like to be creative? Campers will create unique pieces of hands-on art with our VBS Day Camp theme!

Sports/Games: Are you competitive or just love playing games? Campers will interact with peers through competition, and just plain old having fun with wacky games, and much more.

1. Electives/Grades

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Electives/grades have a limited number of openings. We reserve the right to close or cancel an elective at any time. In the event of a canceled elective/grade, you will be notified. We are not able to accommodate elective changes during the week of VBS Day Camp.

2. Registration Details

We encourage parents to register their camper(s) ASAP & invite their friends to do the same. VBS Registration will close on Sunday, June 13th. Since we only have a limited number of openings some K-2 & electives may be closed based on availability. Please contact Sharon Gery if interested in being on a wait list. Unfortunately, due to the limited number of openings we will not be able to accommodate WALK-IN campers or friends the week of VBS. We appreciate your cooperation ahead of time.

We encourage children to attend all 4 days since most projects are cumulative.  You may speak with a VBS DAY CAMP Registration Representative at Check-In to answer further questions, or contact our Children's Ministry Director, Erin Kiefer, prior to VBS DAY Camp.

3. Do volunteers need clearances?

All Volunteers serving at Hope Community Church age 18 & over who are working with children & youth, are required to have clearances as per PA state law.
