Organizer GHV (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated

Organizer of This Is How We Do It II! A Virtual Fundraising Party

On April 28, 1990, the Greater Hudson Valley (GHV) (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was chartered after a shining star in Westchester County, NY, the late Nellie A. Thornton, saw the need to spread her ideas of enrichment beyond the students she taught. GHV has excelled at widening a circle of friendship to four counties in New York State: Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester. Members of the chapter are community leaders with varied careers and dynamic backgrounds in community service. Together, we share the common goal of making the Hudson Valley attractive and hospitable. We achieve our goals by implementing several programs and services that touch upon five key facets:

* The Arts
* Services to Youth
* National Trends & Services
* Health & Human Services
* International Trends & Services
