Event description
A creative exploration of art-based learning, using images and drama techniques, allowing unexpected stories to unfold and to be told.

About this Event

This is an intimate, home-based creative workshop in Bayt al-Andalus, a heritage house in the heart of Old Berchem, Antwerpen. We will speak in English, unless all attendants speak Dutch - but we will mostly speak in images, in body language and in art.

Taking inspiration from Hokusai's famous ukiyo-e series "Thirty Six Images of Mount Fuji" - and using Georges Polti's 36 dramatic situations, we will set forth and tell our own stories, of life, of work, of the workspace, of anything that captures our minds.

The idea is to learn how we use art and dialogues with art in order to develop conversations that would otherwise remain hidden under the surface - thus finding new means to unfold our authenticity, become stronger in who and what we are, and become more able to create more value for ourselves and for those surrounding us.

The intimate atmosphere of this workshop is emphasized by it taking place in the safe, inspiring and non-corporate environment of the facilitator's home . During this workshop, we will cook and eat together - perhaps inside in the Alhambra-like living area, or, weather permitting, in the walled garden, inspired by the Generalife Palace in Granada.

We offer this workshop at a varied price range from € 0 to € 320 (VAT included). When registering, feel free to choose the participation fee which is best adapted to your own circumstances.
