This year has felt like a prolonged night for many of us as we navigate a pandemic, a social justice movement, deep grief, fear due to uncertainty, a volatile election and myriad personal circumstances and events, including joy (see there’s that little bit of light!). ]

At last, we have reached the Season that reflects the same energy and motion as the whole of 2020. A season of darkness, of turning inward — this is an opportunity for internal reflection, and a time to bolster our beloved relationships. This is an era that will be defined by how we generate new adaptive and resilient ways of being — attuning our energy, resources and gratitude to what really matters.

The rhythmic seasonality of our 13 Moons community calls us to come together in ritual and celebration of the long night:

Join us for a virtual Winter Solstice gathering on December 20, 2020 from 10 am — 12 pm

We will use this time for some checking in, intentional soul work to honor our shadow side and acknowledge the dark with gratitude, a guided meditation, and a communal hands-on project.

There is a suggested donation of $13 to cover the cost of materials and mailing, but please pay whatever you are comfortable with — and if that is nothing — that is fine. The most important part is us being together. And because this is virtual — feel free to invite your friends, sisters, grandmothers, mothers, and daughters who may not normally be able to attend because they live far away. All are welcome.

This community is important to us all, and we want to ensure that regardless of what might change related to our physical gatherings, that our shared stories and connections to one another continue to grow.

If you register prior to December 7, 2020 you will receive a packet of materials in the mail to accompany the gathering. You are still welcome to register after December 7, though you may need to improvise with supplies you have at home for the hands-on project.
