About this event
Thirst Boston returns! Postponed from April 24, 2020 we've brought our programming online this year. See below for a schedule of the day's events.
3:30pm EST - Rum Here and Now: Growth, Success, Stress, and an Unknown Future
You’ve heard the history, you’ve heard the speculation about the future, but this historic moment, today, is what lies between. We’ll explore obsessive tradition, obsessive innovation, and how we got here. Led by The Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell, Master Blender of Foursquare Richard Seale, Zan Kong of Worth Park Estate, Benjamin Mélin-Jones of Spiribam, and Maggie Campbell of Privateer Rum.
5:00pm EST - Cooking & Cocktails w/ Tequila Patrón & El Centro
Join Stephanie Teslar, cocktail queen and Mixologist from Tequila Patrón, and Oscar Ruiz, chef at El Centro in Boston’s South End, to elevate your at-home Taco and Tequila Game! You’ll learn how to make homemade tortillas--once you make them fresh, you may never go back!--as well as tricks and tips for delicious Tequila cocktails including the Paloma Tonic and the Mexican Sazerac.
6:30pm EST - Around The Boot: An Italian Road Trip
Dreaming of being transported to the Italian countryside but finding it hard to make it past the couch? Us too! Join Livio Lauro on a virtual Italian vacation with stopovers all around the boot to enjoy the food, culture, and, yes, spirits in each region, while learning about what (or who!) makes them special.
8:00pm EST - Thirst Boston Cocktail Trivia
Come one, come all and test your cocktail and spirits knowledge at Cocktail Trivia! Grab a team (5 people max) and sign up for a chance to hang with other cocktail nerds and win prizes!
