MARTIN LIBRARY

After undergoing a recent $6 million renovation, the Martin Library is back and better than ever! Located at the corner of Market and Queen Streets since 1935, this city landmark has three levels of collection, program, and gathering spaces. Here, you can find the largest collection of books in York County, research expertise, over 70 computers, and learning experiences for all ages. A new teen space has been added with the recent renovation. Get ready to take a tour of this York City landmark!

Aviano's will be providing the food for this social. Aviano's Corner Trattoria & Bar is a neighborhood family restaurant located in York City's Royal Square District. Specializing in wood-fired pizza, pasta, paninis, and more. Avi's pays homage to 4 generations of restaurant owners in Toni Calderone's family, starting with the first pizzeria in York County.

Our classic mix of beer will be provided by Brewery Products and soda and water will be provided by YYP and be available for members and guests.

REGISTRATION POLICY

Members and Guests - Register by 11 a.m. the day of per our COVID rules. Following CDC guidelines, we are dropping the mask requirement for fully vaccinated individuals. But we ask that you RESPECT THE MASK. There are many reasons someone might wear a mask and they don’t need to hear another opinion about why they shouldn’t be wearing a mask. Give them space, don’t try to hug them or roll up inside their bubble. Just…be cool.

There is on-street parking and parking garages nearby. Martin Library also has visitor parking available at 141 E King St, York, PA 17401.
