Event description

Description

For this month’s Third Thursday, Adam Bows, Sustainable Transport Manager, will give a talk on how the University is promoting sustainable travel by investing in bike sharing.

Did you know that you can get 20% off an annual subscription to Oxonbike by signing up with your University email address? Oxonbike has a network of 13 stations and up to 80 bikes, enabling easy, low-cost access to both conventional bicycles and power-assisted e-bikes.

Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know all about the Oxonbike scheme and the new organisations providing dockless bike sharing in Oxford.

The talk will be held at the Malthouse on Thursday 21 September at 12:30 (Front and Rear Room); lunch will be provided. Afterwards we’ll head to the railway station’s cycle hire point for those who would like to have a go on one of the Oxonbikes, either conventional or powered.

Hope to see you there!
