About Ming Fong:
In 2004, Ming Fong founded the Beijing International Music Festival & Academy - the first and only international music festival of its kind in the Chinese capital bringing together renowned artists and pedagogues from around the world to promote “Cultural Harmony Through Music” for the benefit of the next generation of young musicians. Mr. Fong currently serves on the piano faculties of Queens College, CUNY, Music Conservatory of Westchester, and the Third Street Music School Settlement.
About the Series:
Third Street's Live Sounds faculty concert series is free and open to the public on select Fridays at 7:00 p.m. in the Anna-Maria Kellen Concert Hall at Third Street Music School (235 East 11th Street).
The series presents a wide range of solo and collaborative performances highlighting many genres, instrumentation, and composers and spotlights the world-class professional teaching artists at Third Street.
Most concerts are also live streamed free at www.thirdstreet.nyc at the performance times
Concert Information:
Third Street does not currently require COVID19 vaccinations. Masks are strongly encouraged while in the performance space. COVID policies are subject to change at any point.
An RSVP or ticket is required for entry.
No food or drinks are permitted in the Concert Hall at any time.
No pets are allowed at Third Street. Only working service animals in acordance with the ADA are permited.
