About the Beneficiaries:
Silicon Valley Pet Project (SVPP) is a nonprofit organization of volunteers committed to saving local at-risk shelter pets through rescue, community involvement, and education. SVPP saves animals from our local municipal shelter, the San Jose Animal Care Center. So every time they pull a dog into their foster program and free up a kennel for another dog they are actually saving 2 lives! For more information check our their website: svpetproject.org
The Thulani Program rescues abandoned and terminally ill or very old German Shepherd dogs from California and Nevada, finds permanent homes for them, and provides funds to help with their care for the rest of their lives. These are dogs that have virtually no chance of being adopted from shelters, and through Thulani they have an opportunity to spend the rest of their lives as treasured companions. For more information check out their website: thulanidogs.org
A Few Logistics:
The event is a "drop in" style fundraiser, meaning we don't expect attendees to be there the entire time. We encourage you to come buy a beer (or two), have some food and hang with your friends. Purchase a one of a kind, hand created pint glass or growler and enter to win our donation drawing to win one of several fabulous prizes! REMEMBER: You need not be present to win any of our drawings, so don't feel like you will miss out on a fabulous prize if you depart early.
Parking: Parking is complimentary with your admission ticket. Please drink responsibly and take Lyft or UBER if you plan to have more than a few pints.
