PHOENIX FAMTASTICAL FESTIVAL FEATURES PAW PATROL, FAMILY ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS IN HEART OF DOWNTOWN PHOENIX, SEPT. 28 - Event Benefits Back to School Clothing Drive

The plucky pups of Paw Patrol, each inspired by real-world workers from firefighters and police officers to construction workers, will headline the 2019 Phoenix Famtastical Festival (formerly the Phoenix Children’s Festival) with a full lineup of family activities, entertainment and themed adventures from 10 AM – 5 PM, Saturday, Sept. 28, in the streets of downtown Phoenix at 1st street and Washington.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS ARE $5.00, CHILDREN 12 YEARS AND YOUNGER ARE FREE WITH THE FREE DOWNLOADED EVENTBRITE TICKET. PLEASE REGISTER THEM AND PRINT THEIR FREE TICKET ALONG WITH YOUR PAID ADIMISSION TICKET. You must present your eventbrite ticket at the entry gate.

The festival, which attracted nearly 20,000 people last year, will benefit the Back to Clothing Drive, an Arizona nonprofit that helps break down barriers to early childhood school success.

Admission is $5. Kids 12 and under are free (rides and other attractions will be ticketed). All attendees must present their Eventbrite ticket at gate for admission or purchase general admission tickets on site. Paw Patrol Characters Chase and Marshall will be available for all to meet and greet. Free and paid photo opportunities will be available.

In addition to Paw Patrol, Funergy Entertainment and the Fun Crew returns to the main stage with high-energy, interactive non-stop music, dancing, contest and prizes; Dino World Encounter will feature the popular Dino Crew dinosaurs; A Slime Zone will captivate children all day as the make and take slime all day. Other attractions include and the AAA Arizona Family Fun Zone, Adventure Zone, Sports Zone, ticketed rides, Petting Zoo, food trucks, corporate, small business and nonprofit vendors.

Sponsors include Downtown Phoenix, Inc., AAA Arizona (Family Fun Zone Sponsor, Family Life Radio (Radio Sponsor), Arizona Coyotes, Downtown Phoenix Inc., Reimagine Phoenix, and others. Multiple returning and new market and food vendors are already committed to the event including Musical Instrument Museum, Barbazon Modeling Agency, Bikers Against Child Abuse and others.

Sponsorship packages are available beginning at $1,500. Vendor spaces are available for interested for-profit ($475) and non-profit organizations ($350). Returning sponsors and vendors receive 2018 pricing. Sponsorship and vendor information and reservations can be made at www.famtasticalfestival.com.

The one-day event features sponsors, vendors, organizations and companies helping us deliver a full-day of fun, adventure, experiences and memories. The mission is to provide a family friendly event filled with fun and entertainment, and provide parents with vital information on health, welfare and education of children and the entire family. Along with education and entertainment, the Festival will raise money for the Back to School Clothing Drive. Parking at the Festival – There are a number of parking garages within walking distance of the Phoenix Children’s Festival all varying in pricing.

Hey Kids, Bring Your Bathing Suits and Towels – Kids will enjoy water features while at the festival so be sure to bring your bathing suits and towels to enjoy the cool water slides, splash pads, and other water features!


Tickets – Please bring your free general admission ticket with you and present at entrance. Wristbands will be issued to all attendees and individuals that purchase all day ride tickets.

How Much Should I Anticipate Spending at the Event? Rides and games are ticketed and require between 2 – 7 tickets. Each ticket cost $1.00 and games may be purchased onsite. Vendors may have items for sale as well. Parking cost vary depending on where you park.

Food and DrinksFood and Drinks – A variety of fun food vendors and trucks will be onsite for your enjoyment and are tiketed/fee based. A secure beer garden will be available to adults with wine and beer for sale.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No all ages are welcome to attend the event. Some rides and attractions may have age and height requirements. Beer garden participants will be required to show their ID.

What can I bring into the event?

No outside food and drink will be allowed into the festival, unless being brought for a baby or child.
