Description

About this Workshop

This Workshop is delivered in a think-tank format. It does not set out to predict technologies of the future, but it does aim to provide participants with new insights and tools to acquire a spectrum of technology competencies in line with their corporate strategy. Leaders and future leaders from different industries gather in a closed environment for several days, while continually changing the discussion topics and modules to stimulate debate. Participants will share best practices to examine the latest thinking about technology drivers and obstacles that may play a role in changing the future of the industry. It is not the intention to have participants reveal or discuss their proprietary technologies.

Key Take Aways

  • Apply new technology competencies in line with corporate strategy.

  • Employ a renewed awareness of tools that can facilitate the development of a technology program.

  • Use unknown capabilities and talents in the organization for technology invention, development, and application.

  • Illustrate and guide the organization to make the required technology happen when and where you want it deployed.

Lead Instructor

Most recently, Dean was Head of Technology, Western Hemisphere for Shell E&P, leading a staff of over 450 scientists and engineers, directing technology budget spends of many billions of dollars a year.
