Think-Move-Achieve Conference for Physical and Health Educators:  June 6, 2019

Join the Office of School Wellness Programs, in collaboration with District 75, at our biggest professional learning and networking event of the year. Collaborate with peers, share ideas, and learn about standards-based curricula and resources to improve instruction that keeps students engaged, physically active, healthy, and ready to learn.

Workshops will be presented by teacher leaders, partner organizations, and Office of School Wellness Programs staff. All workshop descriptions can be found on the 2018-19 Professional Learning Catalog.

Registration: The Think-Move-Achieve Conference will take place at seven sites across all five boroughs. To complete your registration, you will select the site you would like to visit and choose three workshops to attend. There will be a networking session between sessions I and II that all attendees are required to attend. All attendees must register using a NYC DOE email address. Registration will close Sunday, June 2 , 2019 at 11:59 p.m.

Additional information:

CTLE credits: All of the Think-Move-Achieve Conference professional learning workshops and trainings sponsored by the Office of School Wellness Programs are considered eligible for New York State Education Department Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credit.  Participants who attend all sessions (or the equivalent in a full-day session) will earn 4 hours 45 minutes of CTLE credit.  See the CTLE Credits page for more information. 

Late Policy: Participants who arrive late are not guaranteed entry into pre-registered sessions.

Walk-in Policy: Everyone is strongly encouraged to pre-register for the conference as space is limited, but walk-ins will be welcomed.

Parking is limited: Please search transportation and street parking options for the location you chose before the day of the event. Parking will be limited at all of the sites; we strongly advise you to take public transportation where possible.

Photography: Photos will be taken at this event. The Office of School Wellness Programs reserves the right to use any photography/video taken at the Conference.
