Want to learn...
How to develop relationships and network your way to success?
What it means to build an ethical business?
Ways to give back and make the world a better place?
Join us for an evening with two Philly-based entrepeneurs who know how to do just that and learn the secret to their sauce! Hear their stories, learn what values are important to each of them, and how they give back to the communities that have given them so much.
Jess Edelstein (Tribe 12 Fellowship class of 2015) is CEO of PiperWai, the Philly-made all-natural deodorant featured on Shark Tank, grossing over $2 million after Jess's appearance. Jess will share her journey to success and the ways that she and PiperWai give back to the community.
Wayne Kimmel, Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital, is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, philanthropist, author and tireless networker. SeventySix Capital, the venture capital firm he founded in 1999, has invested in over 40 startup technology and healthcare companies, including SeamlessWeb (now public as GrubHub) and NutriSystem. Among the Fortune 500 companies that have acquired his portfolio companies are, Intel, IBM, Walgreens, and Yahoo. Wayne will speak about the keys to being successful and how to change the world by developing relationships and helping others. Wayne Kimmel will also do a signing of his new book, Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel, which will be available for purchase.
After hearing from Jess and Wayne, we'll participate in an interactive workshop with Justine Haemmerli, founder of Pedalogical, working in small groups to explore the values inherent to each of us and how we can harness them to be the best possible versions of ourselves.
This event is presented by the Tribe 12 Fellowship, a community of individuals dedicated to personal growth, enriching our communities, and making Judaism our own. Applications for our 7th cohort are open now through November 27th at tribe12fellowship.weebly.com.
