Think Big Baltimore - Are There Angels Among Us? Powered by TEO
Event Information
Description
Think Big Baltimore powered by TEO is a series of events dedicated to broadening and strengthening Baltimore's entrepreneurial community. Our February event is a cocktail happy hour surrounding a discussion panel on Angel Investing in Baltimore followed by networking. Join us as our panel talks about thriving angel communities in the Mid-Atlantic region and what Baltimore's community must do to engage more angels.
The panel will include TEDCO’s Executive Director, Rob Rosenbaum, Baltimore Angels Co-founder and Director Greg Cangialosi, and Managing Partner of Cammack Associates, John Cammack. Our moderator is Mike Subelsky "Baltimore-based entrepreneur and organizer of Ignite Baltimore".
An angel investor or angel (also known as a business angel or informal investor) is an affluent individual who provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. A small but increasing number of angel investors organize themselves into angel groups or angel networks to share research and pool their investment capital.
