Event description

Description

An Evening of Existential, Electro-acoustic Adventure!

Virginia Foundation for the Humanities (VFH) hosts its first public “Think and Drink” event, a free community discussion program held in partnership with The Bridge PAI.

NPR’s Lulu Miller, a current Fellow at VFH, will read an excerpt from her forthcoming book, Why Fish Don’t Exist. Her reading will be set to the live musical accompaniment of Charlottesville’s cello sweetheart Wes Swing and followed by an audience Q&A on the dangers of miscategorization, the infallibility of the human mind to make sense of the world, and how and why to loop a cello.

Bring your ears and your questions, close your eyes, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Refreshments will be available for purchase from Potter’s Craft Cider.
