RESERVE YOUR TICKETS NOW for the 30-minute documentary Thin Ice: A Polar Bear’s Plight.

DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 P.M., THE MOVIE STARTS AT 7 P.M.

Be prepared to fall in love with Nora the polar bear. The 2-year-old bear has overcome incredible odds. Abandoned by her mom, she was hand-raised by keepers. But big challenges remain for this little girl who lived a year in Portland and has built a legion of fans. Check out our special 5-part series “The Loneliest Polar Bear."

This documentary is family-friendly, and will be shown at the Northwest Film Center’s Whitsell Auditorium, located in the basement of the Portland Art Museum at 1219 SW Park Avenue. The theater is handicap accessible.

Co-presented by The Oregonian/OregonLive and Northwest Film Center.

The writers, photographers and editors of the project, along with other staff, will meet and greet before the movie starts. The #ProjectNora staff will do a Q & A after the movie.
