You don’t need to be a therapist to have a therapeutic conversation.
In this session, you’ll learn practical tools drawn from psychotherapy, adapted for everyday use , to help others feel heard, supported and safe, without needing to have all the answers.
Through real-life examples, engaging discussion, and simple take-away techniques, we’ll explore:
- What makes a conversation feel supportive (and what doesn’t)
- How to respond when someone is upset, anxious, or overwhelmed
- Language that validates emotions without trying to ‘fix’ them
- Why presence matters more than solutions
- One powerful question therapists often save until the very end
This workshop is for anyone who wants to be more intentional, empathetic, and emotionally attuned in their everyday conversations at home, at work, or in the community.
