Therapeutic Breakthroughs with Nonverbal Approaches to Therapy

In this action-packed workshop, learn the science behind why non verbal approaches (NVA) are necessary for true and substantive healing.

Dr. Julie will guide participants through a four part process to uncover codes in implicit memory and the corollary process to rework those codes without therapy.

This presentation is applicable for clinicians who want to grow their skillset. As well as individuals who want to apply these tools for their own healing.

Please note: The HPG workshop series is approved by the D.C. Board of Social Work for ten 1.5 hour workshops from Sept - June for a total of 15 CEUs if you attend all workshops. CEU certificates are emailed upon request in July. There is a requirement of 2 CEU credit hours or more for a certificate.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Julie Lopez is a speaker, master clinician, and the Founder of Viva Partnership, a mental health organization dedicated to sparking a mental health revolution. Her personal mission is to help build stronger leaders and organizations by empowering them with mental health truths that help them reach greater levels of performance excellence. When leaders understand and implement the power of mental health in their companies, everyone thrives. Making the invisible visible is part of that mission.

Her clinical specialty is working with implicit memory (hidden, cellular memories) by utilizing advanced brain based therapies, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and Neurofeedback. After beginning her career as a systems engineer, she quickly gained an interest in viewing the human body as a system – specifically how humans store and deal with trauma in the body and the compulsions often developed to cope and adapt to trauma.
