Lookism is defined as discrimination due to unattractiveness, this topic is relevant in social settings and dating, but is profound in the workplace. A woman’s appearance can over shadow merit, which is unfair on the woman and her opposite. Sexual Harassment in the workplace corresponds with newly developed concept of lookism because of the cognitive bias that are placed on individuals.
