Event description
Teachers, staff, catechists, youth ministers and anyone working with K-12 students are encouraged to attend this training.

About this Event

Join D. J. Hueneman of Ruah Woods Press for a formation day for teachers, staff, catechists, youth ministers and anyone interested who works with K-12 age range. Training will be both spiritually and content-rich providing a foundation and history of the Great Saint, Pope John Paul II, and the 129 papal audiences that comprise the Theology of the Body. An overview of the depth of the teachings will be provided while also summarizing the impact they have on today’s culture.

D.J. is a cradle Catholic. A few years ago the teachings of Theology of the Body sparked a major revitalization of his Catholic faith. D.J.’s strong belief that the world needs to hear John Paul II’s teaching led him to leave his career, as a teacher and firefighter, to work in ministry. He has spoken nationally and internationally on topics of pornography, Theology of the Body, chastity and the Catholic faith. D.J. now serves as the Training and Development Coordinator for Ruah Woods Press in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lives with his wife and children.

Registration includes:

  1. Ruah Woods Press curriculum K-12 material overview included.
  2. Each participant will receive training material.
  3. Lunch will be provided.

Note: One professional development credit will be available through NNU. Cost is $60. To register for the credit, go to pdlearn.nnu.edu, course EDPD58011.
