Event description

Description

Conservationist, family man, American president. Theodore Roosevelt demonstrated throughout his life an insatiable drive to "dare mighty things" and "win glorious triumphs." In other words, to take action.

We invite you to join "Take Action," the Theodore Roosevelt Legacy Partnership’s first annual conference at Hofstra University. The daylong event features workshops on conservation, civic engagement and active lifestyle by renowned scholars and conservationists.

Keynote speakers include famed TR "reprisor" Joe Wiegand and Michael Patrick Cullinane, author of Theodore Roosevelt's Ghost: The History and Memory of an American Icon.

Tickets include access to your choice of morning and afternoon workshops, a continental breakfast, lunch, exhibitor fair, and tours of a special exhibit at the Hofstra museum.
