Ce concert-raconté fait vibrer la musique, la parole et le geste dans une expérience intime et inattendue.

Tout au long du spectacle, Alina Ichmouratov, jeune autrice et comédienne de grand talent, incarne un personnage un peu hors du temps, habitant la scène du début à la fin du concert.

Un kaléidoscope
ThèmeS & VariationS se déploie comme un kaléidoscope — six univers musicaux contrastés, unis par l’idée de transformation et par les infinies possibilités de la Variation, chacun révélant une facette différente de ce genre intemporel.

Le programme s’ouvre sur Francesco Geminiani, revisité par Michi Wiancko, compositrice américaine internationalement reconnue.

Ses Variations sur “La Follia” rendent hommage à la virtuosité baroque tout en la réinventant avec une énergie et une fantaisie d’aujourd’hui.

Chez Alfred Schnittke, les Variations deviennent une méditation sur la mémoire et sur ce qui dépasse les émotions humaines — une traversée intérieure d’une sérénité touchant à la transcendance.

Chez Felix Mendelssohn, elles se déploient comme un jeu de lumière et de transparence, traversant une large palette d’émotions.

Yuliya Zakharava, compositrice reconnue pour sa voix singulière et audacieuse, signe une création extravagante, Variations en quête du thème — clin d’œil à Six personnages en quête d’auteur de Luigi Pirandello, où la notion même de « thème » devient fluide et insaisissable.

Enfin, le compositeur suisse, Daniel Schnyder, célébré pour son imagination foisonnante, propulse deux icônes du rock — Jimi Hendrix et The Rolling Stones — dans un univers orchestral éclaté, jubilatoire et libre.

ThèmeS & VariationS – Concertale devient à la fois une célébration et une exploration de la variation sous toutes ses formes — musicales, humaines, poétiques.

A concert? — but more than that.
A story? — well… not exactly.
This narrated encounter brings music, words, and movement to life in an intimate, surprising way, with Alina Ichmouratov, a young author and actress of great talent, as a somewhat timeless presence who inhabits the stage from beginning to end of the concert.

A Kaleidoscope
ThèmeS & VariationS unfolds like a kaleidoscope — six contrasting musical worlds linked by the idea of transformation and by the endless possibilities of Variation, each revealing a different facet of this timeless form.

The program opens with Francesco Geminiani, the vibrant Italian Baroque composer, reimagined by Michi Wiancko, an internationally acclaimed American composer.

Her Variations on “La Follia” salute Baroque virtuosity while reimagining it with contemporary flair and energy.

Alfred Schnittke’s Variations offer a serene meditation on memory and transcendence, while Felix Mendelssohn provides luminous contrast — his variations shimmering with clarity, transparency, and emotional fluidity.

Yuliya Zakharava, known for her unconventional voice, unveils an extravagant new work, Variations in Search of a Theme — a whimsical nod to Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author, where the very notion of theme becomes fluid and elusive.

Finally, Daniel Schnyder, the celebrated Swiss composer renowned for his genre-defying imagination, propels two rock legends — Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones — into a vivid orchestral realm, by turns driving, playful, and exuberant.
