Join us for YWCA Lancaster's new themed tea parties. These elegant, intimate teas are a way for us to get to know you and to honor our heritage, while celebrating our commitment to our mission. Enjoy a traditional high tea, then tour our historic home on North Lime Street. Did you know that this architecturally significant building has housed YWCA Lancaster since 1918 and was designed by prominent Lancaster architect C. Emlen Urban?
We'll also tell you a bit about our many programs, all of which benefit the greater Lancaster area: child development, counseling and empowerment, education for women and families, residence program, social justice advocacy and training, and more.
YWCA Lancaster is pleased to partner with La Petite Patisserie, a dessert boutique and tea room with a distinctive French flair, located in downtown Lancaster. Owned by pastry chef Donna Lussier, whose tea-time treats are an exquisite delight! Enjoy delicious tea sandwiches, baked goods, and a variety of teas.
Our next tea is on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. It begins at 4 p.m. and runs until 5:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend, but space is limited. Please make your reservation ahead of time.
