Join us in the garden for an evening of storytelling, community + reconnecting to imagination

About this event

Join Astoria native storyteller & space-holder Audrey di Mola (IG: @audreydimola) for a sacred circle of stories, reconnection to each other and to our imaginations.

We'll hear some old stories in the oral tradition, practice listening with our whole body, and afterwards will 'feed the story' to be in right relationship with the nourishment that is received. There is no pressure to 'know what it means' (!!) or to have 'the right answer' but instead to offer something from the ground of our own unique experience.

We'll also do some visualization/inward journeys (with no thinking required!!) supported by special guest + fellow Astoria artist Lyssa Mandel (IG: @aflockofsandwiches)'s creative writing.

This will be a safe space to explore together, holding space for each other and 'trailing, not trapping' the profound aliveness that courses through the old stories as well as our inner landscapes.

This event is FREE & open to the community so come as you are-- seating is limited but feel free to bring a blanket, yoga mat, etc. for extra comfort.

Thank you to Earth&Me for the space for this event <3
