Rolfe Kent (composer, director)
Unexpected texture, sounds and a signature musical personality are the hallmarks of British film composer Rolfe Kent, who has scored more than 50 films, including Academy Award nominated UP IN THE AIR (for which he won a Golden Satellite award), SIDEWAYS (for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award in 2007), YOUNG ADULT, CHARLIE ST. CLOUD, ABOUT SCHMIDT, ELECTION, MEAN GIRLS, LEGALLY BLONDE and LEGALLY BLONDE II, WEDDING CRASHERS, THE MATADOR, REIGN OVER ME, THE HUNTING PARTY, THE GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST, and THANK YOU FOR SMOKING. Kent also composed the Emmy-nominated main title theme for the Showtime hit, DEXTER. In 2012, he received the Richard Kirk award for career achievement.
Jessica Dixon Majka (choreographer, dancer, yogini)
Jessica is a choreographer, classically trained dancer, and yogini in NYC with a beautiful, strong, highly creative and articulate presence. Over the past 8 years, Jessica has been studying meditation and yoga under Alan Finger at ISHTA Yoga in NYC while integrating her passions for consciousness and dance. Jessica is a senior teacher at ISHTA Yoga and a member of their teacher training staff and leads yoga and meditation programs for HBO. She has taught at NYU Medical, New York University, The Omega Institute, and continues to study under the guidance of Jillian Pransky, Dr. Manjula Paul, Jacylnn Vilamil and Claire Kinsella Holtje. As as graduate from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre she has performed works under Jaquliyn Buglisi, Nathan Trice, Noemie LaFrance as well as solos with Jennifer Archibald, Simple Production and Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre where she also collaborated within choreography and costume design. Jessica has also worked on many network television shows in front of camera: HBO’s Mildred Pierce, The Good Wife, was featured on Ugly Betty and in advertisements for Phillip Morris.
Christina Courtin (vocals/violin)
Christina Courtin is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter living in Brooklyn, New York. She has released two solo recordings of original genre-bending music, one self-titled on Nonesuch (2009) and the other entitled 'Varsity' on Hundred Pockets Records (2013). As a member of the neo-classical NYC ensemble The Knight’s, she has been a part of the release of 6 of their albums on Sony Classical records and shared a 2011 Juno award A Juilliard graduate in Violin Performance, she has written and performed music for national television and radio audiences, has strong regional followings in sophisticated hotbeds of music worldwide and has a dedicated NYC following for her work in voice, violin, viola, and guitar. When Christina isn't writing and singing her own material, she performs regularly as a side man and session musician in and around NYC. She has teamed up with Fun., Dirty Projectors, Sara Watkins, The Knights, Nick Cave, Paul McCartney, Breastfist, Nick Thune, Marianne Faithful, Yo-Yo Ma, Sufjan Stevens, Antony and the Johnsons, Marc Ribot, Iron and Wine, Sara Bareillas, and Teddy Thompson.
