The intention of this class is for you to become more familiar with your own body as a woman and develop loving, self-care practices so you can welcome your monthly period instead of dread it.
Most of us have been taught to view our menstrual time as a painful bummer or at least a bothersome inconvenience. But the truth of it is so much deeper and meaningful. When we go with the flow of our periods and understand what's happening, we tap into our powerful birthright and intuition. This class will offer you practical methods to turn pain and emotional disturbance into a wealth of wisdom.
We will cover:
~ Simple explanations about the body's energy meridians and anatomy and how they relate to our monthly cycles
~ Guidance through Acu-Yoga movements (that's self-acupressure combined with yoga)
~ Breathing, Qigong, and Sound practices to relieve stress and balance your whole system
~ Herbs and nutrition ideal for our bodies
~ Questions and answers within the context of a safe and caring space of knowledgable women (that includes you!)
