Description

The Writing Sangha workshops are led by Chelsey Everest, a writer and teacher from Portland, Maine. Her essay, "Write It Down" appeared in the New York Times bestselling anthology Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It, and her poem "Women's March" appeared in the anthology Such an Ugly Time.

  • For college women ages 18-24

  • Learn mindfulness techniques to address difficult material, including campus sexual assault, mental health, substance abuse, and sexuality

  • Meets every Monday from 6-8pm

  • Workshop series runs for 4 weeks

  • $25/session

  • First series begins 8/7/17


Session Descriptions:

  • Session I: Foundations of Meditative Writing

  • Session II: Using Buddhist Slogans as Prompts

  • Session III: Reading with Empathy

  • Session IV: Providing Compassionate Feedback

Please note that signing up for one session does not register you for all sessions - you must sign up for each individual session if you plan to take more than one (which we encourage!)
