Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Many times, writing at home can hurt the creative process. What you need is a place to go where you can write with other serious artists, in a distraction-free, safe zone.

Join us Sundays starting after Latino Heritage Month as La Pluma y La Tinta provides that space (and prompts, encouragement, tips, and advice) where your stories can flourish. Free.

Space is limited; RSVP today!

Here is the suggested schedule of what we'll "triage" and "diagnose" for you (please note that these aren't set in stone; you're always welcome to ask your specific question at every session):

10/1: Opening Lines
10/8: Guest workshop leader, Shanelle Gabriel (HBO Def Poet)
10/15: Dialogue
10/22: Thickening the Plot
10/29: Protagonists vs Antagonists
11/5: Outline reviews
11/12: Potpourri
11/19: Language barriers
11/26: Genre work--The Holidays!
12/3: When to End
12/10: Editing Tips
12/17: Potpourri
