Building on Henri Nouwen’s groundbreaking work The Wounded Healer, Pastor John Ortberg explores the theme of wintery spirituality - that season where God works actively through us to heal and restore others despite, or perhaps because of, our own brokenness, wounds, and inadequacies. This one-day workshop presents practical suggestions filled with rich spiritual and psychological guidance on how to minister meaningfully and compassionately as a wounded healer.
Attendees will also participate in one of the following supplementary breakout sessions:
- Lamenting yet Trusting with David Sherbino
- Pastoral Care with Sue Mosteller
- In Weakness Faith with Rick Tobias
