A juxtaposition of social the justice climate of yesterday and today interpreted through poetry and dance.

About this Event

Join us for an exploration of the evolution of our community’s ideas, values, and revolutionary thoughts. Indiana Writers Center presents an anthology of historic and contemporary poetry, interpreted into original choreography by Dance Kaleidoscope Dancers. Participate in the experience by creating your own “blackout” or “book” poem with a guided pre-performance art-making activity lead by Indianapolis Art Center teaching artists.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The JCC has free parking on the front of the building (adjacent to Hoover Road) with entry through Door 3, and in the back of the building with entry through Door 5. Bus lines run to Hoover Road with stops right in front of the campus. Map your route at indygo.net .

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Nope! We'll have a printed list of attendees so you can check in at the door?
