Description
A Transformational Workshop based on the work of Joanna Macy
Friday, October 5, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 6, 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Based on Joanna Macy’s work on the Great Turning, The Work that Reconnects is a group of practices and theory that offers active hope, resiliency and connection. We travel a spiral of gratitude, grief, seeing with new eyes and going forth to discover our deep connection to each other and the web of life. We re-enter the world renewed with practices to carry us through our important work of staying awake and resisting with our whole and hopeful hearts. The workshop will be co-led by Beth Remmes and Sarah Anders, both trained facilitators in The Work that Reconnects.
The Work that Reconnects is an event of Climate in the Pulpit.
** Special Prices:
Friday ONLY option at $15
Saturday ONLY option at $60.
Please contact Sarah Anders if you are interested in special price options or if you find the cost prohibitive and we will make adjustments. Scholarship requests will also be accepted.
As an added bonus, attending this workshop makes you eligible to fill out a brief application to be considered for seed money for environmental/community projects. Grants are provided by The Four Directions Fund at Georgia Interfaith Power and Light.
