The Woodlands Town Center is an ideal venue for a weekend celebration of the arts and culture. With the Four Diamond Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, hundreds of stores and restaurants at The Woodlands Mall and Market Street within walking distance, The Woodlands Town Center is a great place for a mini-vacation.
The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is fun for the whole family. Adults can start the festivities at the Festival Kick-Off Party and 60-Second Art Dash, a fast-paced cocktail party experience where you can dash for art and meet the festival artists. The party is set for Friday, April 11 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. Tickets will be available online beginning March 1, at www.woodlandsartsfestival.com. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, an award winning outdoor amphitheater, also is hosting a concert featuring jazz legends Spyro Gyra and Lee Ritenour on the evening of April 12, adding a new dimension to the Arts Festival weekend. Foodies will appreciate the Art of Food tent, sponsored by Hubbell & Hudson, with demonstrations by local chefs, along with great food from Jasper’s, Russo’s Pizzeria and Fielding’s Grill at The Palette Café. While you shop for art you can sip Stella Artois, enjoy great performing arts in three locations, take a break at the Master’s Tent (to see who is winning!), and last but not least, remember to purchase the signature commemorative poster displaying the work of the 2014 featured artists, Paul Willsea and Carol O’Brien, renowned for their exceptional works in glass.
At the festival, kids ages 4-12 can discover the Early Inspirations Gallery where they can select their own piece of art for their collection for only $5. At ARTopoly- Because Art Matters!, children of all ages can create and take home their own art projects led by The Woodlands Children’s Museum and other local non-profit organizations.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
By Walking or Biking: If you are local - Go green - ride your bike to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival! Park at the library.
By Trolley: Park at Waterway Square Garage (FREE) and catch the trolley OR if you are coming from Market Street or the Mall, valet park and you can catch the trolley from there.
By Waterway Cruiser: Board The Waterway Cruiser at the main dock at the Mall and sail on into the heart of the festival. $5.00 day pass $2.50 for children and seniors. Waterway Cruiser Hours of Operation (3 boats will be running) Saturday, April 12 – 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday, April 13 – 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
By Car: There are three FREE parking lots (1) GE parking lot- Grogan’s Mill Road across from HEB ( 2) Waterway Square Parking Garage- Lake Robbins Drive and Waterway Ave and (3) On the NE corner of Six Pines Drive and Lake Robbins Drive.
$5.00 very convenient parking available in the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Town Center Garage.
Handicapped Parking: Available at all lots.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Sorry leave Fido at home ~ NO PETS ALLOWED! No large bags, food or drink allowed.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes- Present your printed ticket to any of our six gates in exchange for a wristband.
What is the refund policy?
This is a rain or shine event. No refunds.
The festival is presented by The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council, a nonprofit organization with its own Board of Directors, Advisory Committee and more than 400 community volunteers. Proceeds from the event provide funding for educational & community outreach programs- Because Art Matters!, student art scholarships, teacher and charity partner programs.
