The Woodlands Symphony Swinging Christmas Concert
Event Information
About this Event
Artistic Director, Darryl Bayer has designed one of his most innovative concerts ever by combining members of The Woodlands Jazz Orchestra with the Woodlands Symphony to present “A Swinging Sinatra Christmas”. Headlining the show is Bryan Anthony, one of the most loved Frank Sinatra style singers in the US and abroad. Bryan is a native of Spring and now resides in the Austin hill country. Expect to hear “Christmas Songs with Sinatra” and get transported back to1948 with the Woodlands Symphony and Jazz Orchestra.
Following CDC guidelines, the auditorium will have distanced seating and face coverings are required. The audience will be limited to 600 total in a venue that seats 1200 with an open lobby area for additional space.
With only half the amount of free tickets to spread around the area, we ask that everyone be nice to their neighbors. If you need more than three tickets for your family, please consider a donation to the WSO. We would like to share our music with as many of our fans as possible, so please be kind as you download.
The auditorium doors will open at 5:15PM. Everyone must show a ticket to enter. We recommend you please download and print your ticket before arriving. You may show your ticket on your phone but please have the ticket pulled up to not cause a log at the entrance (and to keep a large number of people from gathering in the same spot) Please keep you phone/tablet with you as our programs will be virtual this year. The Woodlands First Baptist Church has been kind to host this event however, they do not offer ticket support or child care. Contact the Woodlands Symphony if you need assistance please.
General admission seating is first come so arrive early but NOT before 5PM. If you would like reserved front row seats, those are available for $50 each and your place will be held up to 5 minutes before the starting note!
We thank you for your donations .You are helping the WSO achieve future concerts in 2021 and offset expenses associated with this event....and if you donate before 12/16, your name will be listed on the large screen TVs during the concert!!! PLEASE UNDERSTAND, a receipt for your donation is not a ticket for an additional seat.
