The #WildHawley Parade is taking march at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
We're celebrating every species on Earth, from the forest to the ocean.
Get wild and join the procession in the park!
Come dressed as your favorite plant or animal! Gather your friends and come in costume theme. Groups, families and teams are encouraged to participate. Even friendly Fido can join in the dress-up fun!
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit tables at the Environmental Expo to find spare costume parts!
1:15 p.m. Parade lineup.
1:30 p.m. Parade steps off!
2 p.m. Creativity awards are announced.

Fly-in registrations on the day of the parade can find extra costume parts at the NaturED table in the Environmental Expo, while supplies last!
Creativity awards and prizes will be given out at the end of the parade through Bingham Park. Parade Sponsors, for monetary donations or donated prizes, will download the 2017 Sponsorship Packet at www.hawleyearthfest.com.
There are three opporunties to join a free costume creation workshop with NaturED and community partners.
Free Costume Workshops
Come get ideas for your homemade costume!
Bring a costume to any workshop to start repurposing, or gain inspiration to create a start to one.
An assortment of materials will be available after a brief introduction. You are welcome to bring what pieces you have, or use what's available.

Dig out an old costume from the back of a closet and bring it to the workshop! Together we’ll brain storm ideas for transforming it into a costume.

Trees, flowers and food all grow from plants. What’s your favorite plant? Part of the program will give you ideas for creating a costume.

It’s a zoo in the community room with a book reading about Pennsylvania’s animals! Let your mind go wild and create a costume design of your favorite animal.
