About this event

The Well Armed Woman provides a much-needed sense of community to the growing but often ignored group of women. Their group is a very active and dynamic community where they discuss and share important topics and advice!

TWAW Shooting Chapters is a non-profit organization that organizes local groups of women around the country that meet monthly to practice, learn and grow as shooters. Creating opportunities for women to be introduced to issues important to women shooters, learn safe gun handling skills and train together.

Here you’ll find everything you need to make well-informed decisions about the role of firearms in your life whether you are a new or experienced gun owner.

What to bring

  • Valid photo I.D., Driver License is preferred
  • Any Medications that you might require during the course (please consider that class length time is subject to be extended).

Before making a reservation, consider the following:

The following people are disqualified from possessing, renting, and/or handling firearms:

  1. Any person who is an unlawful user of, addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance, even if they possess a medical marijuana card, or even if marijuana becomes legalized at a State level.
  2. Any fugitive of justice.
  3. Anyone convicted in any court, including a military court, of a felony, or any other crime for which the judge could have imprisoned them for more than a year, even if they received a shorter sentence, including probation.
  4. People who have been adjudicated as a mental defective or have ever been committed to a mental institution.
  5. People who are currently addicted to alcohol (alcoholics).
