The Wave Silent Disco with Founder, Julia Grace (March 6)
Event Information
About this Event
With light facilitation and intention, we dance, liberate, and celebrate to eclectic tunes spun by our live dj's (from tribal house, to electronic, to old school funk, classics, and hip hop) streaming into silent disco headsets, giving you the freedom to dance, connect, and have space for full self expression. The sandy beach is your dance floor...the waves and the setting sun is your backdrop.
The wave silent disco, is more than just a community dance event. It's a movement to end loneliness worldwide. A portion of the proceeds of ticket sales and donations, supports ALMA, our non profit organization that addresses loneliness and isolation in seniors citizens through movement, arts, and intergenerational connection!! (www.ALMAmovement.org). By purchasing a ticket and dancing with the Wave you are making a difference!

We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. Thankfully the beach allows for so much outdoor air and space.
Note:
- We are disinfecting headsets before and after use
- We encourage you to wear your mask at check-in and throughout the event. However, if you decide to take off your mask, we ask that you be mindful of the people around you and maintain a safe social distance from other dancers and beachgoers.
- Wear red if you are immuno-compromized or in close contact with someone that is!
- Bring layers!
Let's continue to be an example that joy, freedom, and connection IS possible during these times.
