Description

DUO Arts & Edutainment Present, The Voices of Black Folk, a dynamic new drama by writer Khareem Jamal, one of the creators of Black Heroes In The Hall Of Fame. The play relates episodes in the lives of black abolitionists' David Walker, Harriet Tubman and Joseph Bologne.

Essentially consisting of three vignettes "The Appeal", "They Called Her Moses" & "Le Mozart Noir" highlighting the sacrifices and contributions  these individuals made towards the abolition of slavery.

These stories will also serve to inspire young people about the possibilities of achievement, and the realisation that nothing is insurmountable and almost anything can be achieved irrespective of the circumstances in which you find
yourself.
