It is said that we will experience more change in the next ten years than in the previous 200. We are living in a time of unrivalled innovation. However we need to proceed with caution and understand where true value lies and how much of the talk is either hype or irrelevant to our industries.

Jay Short has been within the world of technology for close to ten years with roles straddling technical, creative and consultancy. Having worked with the likes of brands such as Google and Facebook, as well as charities in WaterAid and Cancer Research and a diverse range of agencies. His role and the role of INITION as a company is to help clients to understand the actual value in using new technologies rather than simply being caught up in the hype.

In this talk, head of R&D and innovation group MediaMonks Labs, Sander van der Vegte, opens the doors to the lab to show which cutting-edge technologies will change the creative industries, and how emerging technologies can add value to a wide variety of industries.
