Description

Join the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE) for a walking tour of American Indian landmarks on the UW-Madison campus, led by Aaron Bird Bear and Omar Poler. Starting at Memorial Union, we will walk about a mile to Dejope (Teejop) Residence Hall, stopping at seven campus locations to learn about their Native history and cultural significance.

The tour is free and will take approximately two hours. Please note that spots are limited, however, and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND.

This event is cosponsored by the School of Education and the American Indian Studies Program at UW-Madison.
