Join WABE, Atlanta's choice for NPR and PBS, and the Temple, 6–8 p.m. EST, Wednesday, January 25, for a screening and analysis of The U.S. & the Holocaust, a documentary series directed and produced by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick and Sarah Botstein, exploring America’s response to one of the greatest humanitarian crises of the 20th century.
The evening will feature clips from the series plus a panel discussion hosted by WABE City Lights host Lois Reitzes.
Panelists include:
• Jill Savitt, President/CEO of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights
• Peter Berg, Senior Rabbi at The Temple
• Lauren Linder, Co-chair of Rothschild Social Justice Institute's Racial Justice Group
The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required to attend.
