What role, if any, did the Lifesaving service play during and after the 1913 storm. The presentation will address this question as well as a brief history of the service and an inventory of the tools available to the service at that time. Speaker Paul Schmitt will take a deep dive into this fascinating chapter of Great Lakes history.
